Agreement
By downloading or using Hatched!, you agree to these Terms between you and the developer operating the app. If you disagree, uninstall the app and discontinue use.
Eligibility & region
Hatched! is offered only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. Do not access the Services from embargoed territories or if you cannot form a binding contract.
Apple App Store
For App Store copies, Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support, nor for product claims. Apple may act as a third-party beneficiary. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application EULA also applies: Apple Standard EULA.
Accounts & CloudKit
Functionality requires an Apple ID and iCloud. You are responsible for securing your device. CloudKit quotas or outages may temporarily affect sync.
Your content
You keep rights to media you upload. You grant us a license to host, transmit, and display that content solely to operate, secure, and improve Hatched! and to enforce these Terms, including technical processing such as transcoding or generating thumbnails.
Prohibited conduct
- Violate federal, state, local, tribal, or wildlife-protection laws, including rules about birds, nests, or eggs.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or endanger people; post unlawful or exploitative media.
- Attempt to scrape, hack, mine private data, or bypass paywalls and moderation.
- Misrepresent locations (“fake nests”) in ways that endanger wildlife or mislead responders.
Subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled in Apple’s subscription settings. Free trials convert according to the terms shown at purchase. Taxes and pricing are determined by Apple for your storefront.
Moderation
We may remove or restrict content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when required. Enforcement can be imperfect—use the report tools in good faith.
Disclaimer of warranties
Hatched! is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee map accuracy, uninterrupted service, or wildlife outcomes. Field decisions remain yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those cases our liability is limited to the greater of amounts you paid in the prior 12 months or USD $50.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
