Terms of Use
Agreement
By downloading or using Futures from Fiction, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple’s App Store terms also apply to your use of the app through their platform.
Not professional advice
Content is for general education and inspiration about science, engineering, policy, and careers. It is not medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. Always consult qualified professionals and primary sources before making decisions that affect your health, finances, or compliance obligations.
Fiction references
Titles of shows, films, and books are used descriptively to identify where ideas became culturally visible. Hammoch Apps is not sponsored by or affiliated with rights holders unless explicitly stated. We do not claim ownership of third-party trademarks.
Third-party links
The app may link to external websites, papers, and standards. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Accuracy and updates
We aim for careful summaries and citations, but science and industry change. Content may contain errors or become outdated. The optional remote catalog feature (if enabled by the developer) may change what you see over time without a full app update.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app to harass others, scrape servers in violation of third-party terms, or attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app beyond what applicable law allows.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose except where prohibited.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hammoch Apps and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer laws require otherwise.
