Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hammoch Apps collects, uses, and shares information when you use Captured! Our Real World (the “Services”). The Services are intended for use only in the United States by adults 18 and older.

Information we process

• Account & profile: CloudKit user record identifiers, display name, optional bio.
• Content: Live camera photos, optional captions, capture timestamps, latitude/longitude.
• Social graph: Real Friends follow relationships.
• Moderation: On-device screening signals; abuse reports you email to us.

How we use information

• Provide feeds, maps, profiles, and follow filtering.
• Enforce Terms, community standards, and safety processes.
• Respond to support and legal requests.
• Run on-device checks to reduce harmful uploads where implemented.

Sharing

Content you publish may be visible to other users. Apple processes CloudKit data under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

Revoke camera or location permissions in Settings. Delete moments when the app allows. Email us for privacy requests where applicable law provides rights.

Terms of Use

By using Captured! Our Real World you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application EULA for App Store copies: Apple Standard EULA.

You must be 18+ and in the United States. You need an Apple ID and iCloud. You are responsible for your device and conduct.

Community & acceptable use

• Do not post unlawful, harassing, exploitative, hateful, or extremely graphic content.
• Do not attempt to bypass camera-only capture, location checks, or moderation.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Services.
• Report harmful content via the in-app Legal tab or support email.

We may remove content or restrict accounts. Enforcement can be imperfect.

Time, location & authenticity

Each capture records a timestamp and GPS coordinates at upload. Map pins and feed posts can reveal sensitive places. You are solely responsible for what you publish and where. Captured! Our Real World does not guarantee GPS or clock accuracy.

Copyright & DMCA

If you believe content infringes your copyright, email jason@hammochapps.com with identification of the work, the infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. We may remove or disable access consistent with applicable law.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAMMOCH APPS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF USD $50 OR AMOUNTS YOU PAID IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

U.S. state privacy notices

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal data, and to appeal certain decisions. Submit verifiable requests to jason@hammochapps.com. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

United States only

Captured! Our Real World is not marketed to the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. Do not use the Services outside the United States or if you cannot comply with U.S. law.

Changes

We may update these disclosures. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
