Getting started with AI features

PMC uses the Anthropic Claude API for its AI features. To activate them, you need a free API key:

New Anthropic accounts receive $5 in free credit, enough for several hundred AI requests. After that, usage is billed at very low per-request rates directly by Anthropic.

Where is my data stored?

Everything — your trip vault, saved shows, API key, and settings — lives on your device only. Nothing is synced to any server. If you uninstall PMC, your data is removed. Export a backup from My Data before uninstalling to keep a copy.

Cancelling your subscription

PMC subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. To cancel:

You keep Pro access for the remainder of your current billing period after cancelling.

Restoring a purchase on a new device

On your new device, open PMC and tap Restore purchase on the paywall screen. Ensure you're signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Your subscription will be restored at no charge.

Backing up and restoring trip data

To back up: tap ··· More → My Data → Export Backup (.json). This saves all vault and show data to your device. To restore: tap Import Backup and select the file. Backups are compatible across devices and work on both the iOS app and web version.

Is PMC available on Android or web?

PMC is available for iPhone and iPad. A web version is also available — check back at this site for the latest link. An Android release is not currently planned.

Does PMC work offline?

The Trip Vault, Saved Shows, and Route Planner work fully offline. AI features (Discover, Find Shows, Plan Trip, Surprise Me, Budget) require an internet connection to contact the Anthropic API.
