Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2026 · Culinary Cupboard iOS app.
Summary
Culinary Cupboard is designed to track foods you add and match recipes locally on your device. It does not require an account to use core features described on the marketing site.
What you store on device
The app may store cupboard items (names, barcode identifiers, categories, optional expiration dates), grocery list entries, saved grocery lists, preferences such as recipe category order, and cached recipe text used for matching and display.
Network requests
When you are online, the app may contact public recipe services (for example TheMealDB) to download recipe ideas that are then used for matching. Those requests are initiated from your device and are subject to the privacy practices of those third-party services.
Photos & camera
If you use barcode scanning, camera frames may be processed on device to read codes. The app is not designed to upload your photos to our servers as part of normal matching (there are no developer-operated recipe servers in this template site).
Analytics and tracking
This marketing template does not embed third-party advertising SDKs. Apple may provide aggregate App Store analytics and crash diagnostics according to your device and App Store settings.
Your choices
You can remove cupboard items, clear lists, reset app data where provided, or delete the app from your device. If you share exported text (for example a grocery list) to another app, that sharing is governed by the destination app.
